Who We Are

LOUISE is a name rooted in history. An homage to founder Katie McLaughlin's great-grandmother and a name that continues to hold meaning within her family. Louise is a reflection of generational inspiration and a sense of continuity that runs through each collection as the line evolves under Katie's creative vision.

Founded in 2021, Louise was built from the ground up, walking door to door through New York City's Garment District to find manufacturing partners and source fabrics locally. Katie selects her fabrics first, based on their weight, texture, and pattern. Then, she drapes and designs each silhouette inspired by vintage styles, old films, and antique textiles. From there, the patterns are sent to her manufacturing partners in New York and India.

The line is known for its use of bold color, distinctive prints, and feminine silhouettes that flatter and frame the body with ease. The collections balance structure with softness, offering pieces that feel polished yet wearable - designed to move effortlessly with the Louise woman.
